Please join us for some fun as the Varsity Baseball Team hosts its first annual Baseball Clinic on Saturday, 3/16/19 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at LHS. The Clinic is open to any student in Grades 3-8 and will cost $15.00 per student!

Engaging lessons are the foundation of learning. Mrs. Feigeles's 6th grade class analyzed photos from the Great Depression during a Gallery Walk lesson. Students brought their findings back to the classroom to have small group discussions on the impact of the Great Depression.

This week is Positive Praise week. An important aspect of the week involves students reflecting on our Core Values of Respect, Integrity, Caring, and Honesty. Ms. Berry and Mrs. Velthaus have proudly displayed their student work around RICH. Nice job!




As a reminder, midterms will begin this week. Students enrolled in Algebra will be administered their midterm exam on January 24th and 25th. Students enrolled in Living Environment will take their midterm on January 29th and 30th.

To celebrate World Kindness Day, LMS students and staff enjoyed several activities surrounding the concept of kindness. Kindness hashtags and Chains of Kindness were created to leave a daily reminder of the important impact of being kind in the classrooms.





During the month of December, LMS students were given a snowflake to decorate with the staff member they are most thankful for. Together, their snowflakes created the Blizzard of Kindness. What a wonderful show of kindness by our students!


LMS students attended a Long Island Nets Game as a congratulations for having outstanding attendance! A great time was had by all!



Our STEM students participated in the Cradle of Aviation Kid Wind Competition. Congratulations to all our competitors! We are looking forward to our next competition at the Cradle of Aviation in March.
