Tomorrow, we will observe Patriot Day in honor which is observed to honor the memory of the nearly 3,000 innocent victims. Lawrence will observe Patriot Day by having a Flag Ceremony tomorrow with our Superintendent, Staff and LPS Learners. We ask that our staff and learners wear Red, White &/or Blue tomorrow. We continue to assure our little learners of their safety with us in our building and we continue to help our learners identify ways they can help others and always be kind. Kindness Always Wins. . . We are so excited to welcome back our learners for the 2021-2022 School Year tomorrow, Thursday, September 2nd! Our school day schedule is 8:45-3:25PM. If your child is taking the bus to school, please ensure they bring their bus pass with them to school. If your child is a walker, please bring them to the Gymnasium or Breezeway Entrance by 8:45AM. Upon arrival, all students' temperature will be checked before entering the building. Parents will not be permitted in the building on the first day of school. Please send your child into school with their Dismissal Form which was in the Welcome Packet to ensure we have this on file. If your child is a walker for the day or every day, please send in a note each day that says your child will be a walker. If you have any questions or need to notify the school about a change in dismissal, please call the Main Office before 1:00PM at 516-295-6202. We are looking forward to a fantastic First Day at the Primary School!

Lawrence, The first day of school for students is September 2nd. There have been no department of health updates sent to schools, however today the state education department announced guidance will be coming to address questions around the wearing of masks, social distancing, remote learning, and transportation.
