Family Math

The hallways of Lawrence Primary were buzzing with excitement last night as students, parents, and educators gathered for our annual Family Math Night. This event serves as a vital part of our school's commitment to fostering a strong partnership between home and the classroom, transforming the building into a vibrant hub of numerical discovery and collaborative problem-solving.

Families navigated through three high-energy stations designed to make complex mathematical concepts accessible, engaging, and—most importantly—fun. A 'Math Jeopardy' game show, STEAM Innovation Lab and Math Board Games emphasized the importance of quick recall and teamwork, as parents and children put their heads to problem solve and witness how math can be integrated into daily family routines through simple, interactive play.

With support from our Lawrence High School National Junior Honor Society, all families left with a takeaway from the event.
