This week, we celebrated Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Monday, January 20. Here at LPS, we are thankful for the amazing difference that Dr. King made in our country! Students learned about Dr. King, his courage, and his legacy that will continue to live on.
Students in Ms. Novello’s class participated in a kindness challenge in honor of Dr. King. Students were rewarded with hot chocolate for their act of kindness this week! They had to fill up their MLK kindness jar!
Students in Ms. Appleman’s second grade class have been learning how to count money. Math is fun!!
