Good Afternoon LHS Families,
Due to our school temporarily shifting to remote instruction for all students, our afternoon parent/teacher conferences originally scheduled for Wednesday, October 14th will be postponed for a later date. Instead, students will have a regular day of remote instruction periods 1 through 8 on Wednesday, October 14th.
Thank you for your understanding during this challenging time.
Be well,
Dr. Lagnado-Papp

A letter from Dr. Pedersen about the move to full remote learning can be found at https://core-docs.s3.amazonaws.com/documents/asset/uploaded_file/957260/Move_to_Full_Remote_Model_-_COVID-19_-_10.08.2020.pdf

Good Afternoon LHS Families,
Yesterday, you should have received a text from Dr. Pedersen regarding the State mandated move to have Lawrence Schools switch to full remote learning. Therefore, ALL high school students will be remote starting tomorrow, Friday, October 9th with an expected return to campus no earlier than Friday, October 23rd. LHS will continue holding classes remotely using our regular bell schedule periods 1 through 8. The faculty, staff and administration will make every effort to make the transition to full remote instruction as seamless as possible for our students.
Wishing all our families good health!
Dr. Lagnado-Papp

Good Evening LHS Families, In preparation for the arrival of tomorrow's Gold Week students, we are asking families to enter through the Arlington gate and exit through the Oxford gate. Students are to remain in their cars or bus until checked-in by an LHS administrator or security guard. As soon as the student is given clearance, they may exit their car or bus and enter the LHS school building. Please remember, families must submit the District checklist of assurances (once per child) https://forms.gle/3TQuvtM3W61EfmiS6 and the daily health questionnaire (to be completed daily) https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1eaYTH8NxG6AmU5HMc1mqm65cRle9gWAtI4EgVI_oXOc/edit?usp=sharing We expect challenges as we reopen for Gold students, so please leave yourself enough time before your child's first class and we ask everyone to be patient at the check-in. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Lawrence will never forget the heroes and horrors of 9/11. Tomorrow, a moment of silence will take place in all buildings along with a ceremonial flag raising and the playing of taps. We ask all to wear red, white and blue, if you are remote and in person. Families can watch the flag raising from socially distant outdoor spots or when posted to school websites.
