ADVANCED PLACEMENT ART PORTFOLIOS
In A.P. Art, four students, Manuel Cortes Romero, Emely Flores, Kimberly Ramirez, seniors, and Jonathan Salnave (junior) submitted art portfolios that will be reviewed by the College Board panel of adjudicators. The categories are 2D Design and Drawing. Between 15-20 works were created by each student.
This was a big commitment especially during remote and hybrid learning. Each art student created a sustained investigation series on a topic he or she chose. The use of materials and techniques was also selected by the student. Each one explored and developed creative ideas based on individual interests and wrote a statement on the content.
