4/8 Adjust & Transit
The school day was adjusted to allow us to view the solar eclipse.
I was in transit when the earthquake happened on Friday.
Prom Boutique
There is a NO cost PROM BOUTIQUE that takes place on Saturday-April 20th from 9am-3pm. If you are interested in shopping at this boutique you MUST go to see Ms. Swain in ROOM 300 and sign up-Please make sure your sign up for this boutique NOW in order to get on the guest LIST!!! Those of you who pre-register will have priority access to shop for PROM attire.
Math Fair
The Lawrence High School Math department is proud to report that this year, four
Lawrence High School students medaled at the 2024 Long Island Math Fair at Hofstra University, held on Friday, April 5th.
9th graders Ashley Godinez, 10th grader Poonam Bansi, and 11th grader Aaliyah Ojikutu won bronze medals.
9th grader Sebastian Vega won a silver medal!
Congratulations to the math department to all of the teachers, staff and peers who helped along the way.
Baseball Reminder. There will be a home baseball game this afternoon. Though you must leave the building by 12:00 due to the Solar Eclipse, you must return to the field no later than 4:30. If you can not return please let Coach Ziff know. He will be in or around room 322, or put a message in Remind.
