Good morning Lawrence Family, Bathrooms will open 5 minutes after the period starts and close 5 minutes before the period ends. Teachers please send one student at a time with a pass.

History Club
There will be a meeting for the history club tomorrow at 2:45 in room 340. We will be talking about this year's events and looking for members to compete in the quiz bowl competition.
Guidance News
The October 18th college visit has been changed to Friday October 20, at 10:30.
Computer Art
The computer art Club will meet thursday after school in the Mac Lab room 233. Please join and see new and exciting activities being planned. NEW members are encouraged to join in on the fun.
African American Club
The African American club will be meeting Wednesday after school at 2:45 in the new dance room. Please be on time and see you all there!
Athletic Department
The Athletics Department will be starting up their weekly pretzel sales starting on Wednesday of this week, after school in the main lobby. Stop by and get your fresh, warm, salted Bavarian pretzel for just $2.00. Hope to see you all there.
Girls Basketball Meeting
Any girls interested in trying out for basketball, please attend the preseason meeting taking place this Thursday, October 19th at 3:15pm in the cafeteria.
Athletic Sports Physicals
Attention Athletes: The district doctor will be at the high school on November 2nd to conduct physicals for athletic clearance. If you need an updated medical form, you must see Nurse Brooks before you can see the doctor on November 2nd. Anyone looking to tryout for a Winter sport should see Nurse Brooks to check on medical clearance status.
Boys Varsity Soccer
The Boys Varsity Soccer team had a complete team effort as they cruised to a 3-1 victory over Valley Stream South yesterday. Jonathan Valiente had a goal and an assist to help seal the win. Corvin Pocasangre and Joseph Gonzalez also scored. This afternoon the Tornadoes have their final game of the regular season before the playoffs as they take on the Lynbrook Owls. Come out and support the team! Kickoff is at 4:30PM.
